1. What are press-on nails?

Press-on nails are high-quality, reusable nail tips that you can apply at home in minutes. They come pre-painted and pre-shaped—no salon required!

 

2. How long do press-ons last?

·      If applied with Glue - up to 2 weeks

·      If applied with Adhesive Tabs - up to 7 days

For best results, avoid soaking hands in water for prolonged periods and use gentle, alcohol-free cleansers.

 

3. How do I choose the right size?

Each kit includes 24 unique sizes. Simply match the tab or nail to your natural nail bed—if you’re between sizes, pick the larger one and file down the edges for a perfect fit.

 

4. How do I apply & remove my Neon Nails press-ons?

To Apply:

·      Push back cuticles and clean nails with alcohol wipe

·      Choose correct size for each finger

·      Apply nail glue or adhesive tab (both included)

·      Press and hold for 20-30 seconds

·      For best results, keep your hands dry for at least one hour after application.

To Remove:

·      Soak hands in warm, soapy water for 10-15 mins

·      Gently lift from the side using a cuticle stick

·      Remove leftover glue with acetone or buffer

 

5. Why did my press-ons off?

There could be a few reasons why your press-ons have fallen off. For example, you may have selected the wrong nail size or you might not have correctly prepared your nails.

 

Please consider the following suggestions to reduce the likelihood of your press-ons falling off:

·      Buff surface of your natural nail and wipe with alcohol wipes before application

·      Avoid water for three hours after application

·      If in between sizes, size down nails where necessary (nails that are too big are likely to pop off)

·      Press down press-ons firmly to remove any air pockets during application

·      Apply a generous amount of glue

·      Apply adhesive tabs as close to cuticle as possible

 

6. Can I shower and bathe with press-ons?

If applied with Glue - showering and bathing should be no problem!

If applied with Adhesive Tabs - whilst we recommend you avoid prolonged exposure to warm or hot water, you should not have many issues showering with your press-ons.

 

7. Can I reuse press-on nails?

Yes! After removing, clean off any adhesive residue, air-dry, then store in the protective sleeve. With careful handling, you can reuse press-ons 2–3 times.

 

8. Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! We ship worldwide. Shipping fees and delivery times vary by destination—calculate rates at checkout.

 

9. What if my nails are defective?

Every Neon Nails set is checked a number of times through our quality control process, however, if something has been overlooked, we want to hear about it and make things right. 

If you believe you have received a defective product please email admin@neonnails.com.au within 48 hours of receiving your order with a clear photo of the defect and your order number so we can rectify the situation with a replacement, or a gift card.

 

10. Where do you ship from and how quickly?

Our Neon Nails kit is sent from Sydney via Australia Post, with most orders going out within 24 hours.

 

11. I have sensitive nails—are your products safe?

Our press-ons are non-toxic, cruelty-free, and free of harsh chemicals like formaldehyde. We always suggest a patch test before full application.
